A day at Lumen Garden

Each morning begins with a calm welcome circle, followed by self-directed Montessori work time. Children choose activities from prepared shelves — sensorial materials, practical life tasks, language trays, and math manipulatives — and work at their own pace with gentle teacher guidance.

What your child will develop

  • Language and early literacy through storytelling and phonics
  • Number sense and early math through hands-on materials
  • Fine motor skills through practical life and art activities
  • Social skills through collaborative play and group time
  • Independence, focus, and emotional self-regulation

Outdoor time in our garden is a daily part of the schedule — not an afterthought. Children water plants, observe nature, and play freely in a safe, supervised space. The day closes with a reflection circle before pickup.
