Why we started Lumen Garden?

Dear Parents,
As the director of the School, I extend warm greetings and share the mission behind our School.

With 20 years of teaching experience, I've been moved to address a vital issue - nearly 50% of new mothers in India leave their jobs due to lack of reliable childcare, with only 27% returning. This school is my solution, aimed at providing quality education in a safe environment, enabling mothers to confidently re-join the workforce, thereby enhancing our nation's GDP.

Why is this important? Firstly, the participation of women in the workforce currently stands at a mere 23%. By offering a trustworthy place for children, we can help increase this percentage, which directly contributes to our nation's growth.

Secondly, the first five years of life are pivotal for brain development in children, significantly influencing their future learning and success. We take the responsibility of providing a nurturing and positive environment for this crucial period seriously, ensuring the brightest futures possible.

Our dual mission - empowering women and fostering children's development - forms the essence of our school. With your trust, we aim to shape a future where no woman must choose between her career and her child, and where every child receives a quality education.
